Welcome to the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service’s website. We have been serving the families of the Watertown and Marshall areas, since 1873, with caring, compassionate and personalized service. As a local, family owned business, we have a long legacy of helping and supporting family and friends experiencing bereavement. We understand that a family needs someone to turn to in a moments notice, someone that truly cares and has the ability and resources to provide the level of service they expect.
The funeral directors and staff at Schmutzler-Vick have a commitment to serve each family individually, to help them with paying tribute to their loved one and to truly celebrate a life that has been lived. We do not believe in cookie cutter funerals, each and every service should be an individualized tribute. We accomplish this through the use of tribute DVD’s and custom stationary products that help to tell the story.
We also endeavor to be a leader in cremation service, with our onsite crematory, we can assure each family that their loved one will never leave our care. Our “Cremation Promise…” assures that the highest standards are maintained by our professionally trained and experienced staff. We are proud to be members of the Funeral Service and Cremation Alliance of Wisconsin since it’s early days in the late 1990’s. This organizations purpose is to educate the public and propose consumer friendly legislation that pertains to death care and funerals in our state. Our group helped to write new legislation that regulates cremation in Wisconsin, a previously unregulated industry.
We are always striving to be a leader by serving our families with our up to date facilities and trained and caring staff. We are here to assist you before a death occurs with our pre planning services all the way through, to the dark days following the celebration of your loved one life. You can truly count on us to serve each and every family within their own traditions, culture and financial means.
